A Churchmouse Yarns and Teas Pattern - X x X Anniversary Tea Cozy (PDF)
To celebrate our 10th, we stirred together a few of our favorite things: cables, tweed and tea! And just to be a little eXtra clever, we made sure to sneak in 10 (X!) little X-ing cables. We think every home needs a Brown Betty. And every teapot needs a tweedy cozy!
Thereās something so homey (the English would say āhomely!ā) about a knitted tea cozy. And itās so practical. It keeps the water at the optimum steeping temperature longer and itāll keep your tea warm while you sip. And chat. And knit. Once you start using one, youāll never have a naked teapot again!
This tea cozy is worked in two pieces, then seamed, leaving openings for handle and spout.
