Ultimate Sock takes our sock yarn and elevates it a level by adding 25% Nylon to the superwash merino that everyone already knows and loves. It is perfect to knit your lovely socks and make sure they will be resistant and durable at the same time. Ultimate Sock is a 4-ply with 420 yards yarn.
Great for: Lace, shawls, scarves, garments, baby and child items, gloves, and of course socks. Due tp its resilience, Ultimate Sock is an ideal choice for any garment or accessory that will face a lot of friction.
As with all hand-dyed yarns, each skein can look slightly different than the other. Accordingly, skeins shipped may not look exactly like the photograph.
Fiber Content: 75% Superwash Merino Wool and 25% Nylon.
Gauge: 7.5-8 Stitches to an inch on U.S. size 1 - 3 needles (2.25 - 3.25mm).
Hook Size: US B-1 to E-4 (2.25-3.5mm).
Yardage: Approximately 420 yards in each 100 gram skein (one hank is sufficient for most socks).
Care: Machine washable, gentle cycle, cold water, do not tumble, dry flat (we would recommend hand washing for longevity and better wear).
